1. Who we are

This website, skindae.co.za, is operated by Skindae Luxury Skincare ("Skindae", "we", "us"), based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Contact: hello@skindae.co.za.

2. Agreeing to these terms

By browsing this site or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. We may update these terms; the version published here at the time you order is the one that applies to that order.

You must be 18 or older, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place an order.

3. Products and descriptions

We describe our products as accurately as we can, including full ingredient lists. Colours and textures may appear differently on your screen. Batch-to-batch variation in colour and scent is normal in products made with natural ingredients and is not a defect.

Product images are illustrative. Where a product is part of a kit, the kit page lists exactly what is in it.

4. Skin, allergies and medical advice

Our products are cosmetics, not medicines. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and nothing we sell is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition.

Always patch test on your inner arm 24 hours before first use, and read the full ingredient list before you buy if you have a known allergy or sensitivity. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, under a dermatologist's care, or using prescription topical treatments, speak to your healthcare provider first.

Stop using a product immediately if irritation occurs, and contact support@skindae.co.za.

Results shown in before-and-after photographs and customer reviews are individual experiences. Results vary between people and depend on consistent use. We do not promise any particular outcome.

5. Prices and payment

All prices are in South African Rand and include VAT where applicable. Delivery is charged separately and shown at checkout, except on orders over R950 where it is free.

We accept card, EFT and express checkout through UCIN. Payment is taken when you place your order. We do not store your full card details — payment is handled by Shopify Payments and, where you choose it, by UCIN.

We try to keep prices accurate. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a system or human error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it. We will contact you first.

6. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. Our order-confirmation email acknowledges receipt but does not accept the order; the contract is formed when we dispatch the goods. We may decline an order if the product is out of stock, we cannot deliver to your address, or we suspect fraud.

7. Delivery and returns

Delivery is covered in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Returns, refunds and cancellations are covered in our Refund & Returns Policy. Both form part of these terms.

8. Promotions and discount codes

Discount codes are single-use per customer unless stated otherwise, cannot be combined, and cannot be applied after an order is placed. Kit and bundle pricing already reflects a saving and may be excluded from further codes. We may withdraw a promotion at any time before you place an order.

9. Accounts

If you create an account, keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@skindae.co.za if you think it has been compromised.

10. Your content

If you send us reviews, photographs or tag us on social media, you give us permission to reuse that content on our website, marketing and social channels, with credit to your handle. You confirm the content is yours to share and does not infringe anyone else's rights. Tell us at hello@skindae.co.za if you want it taken down and we will do so.

11. Our content

The Skindae name, logo, product names, photography, copy and site design belong to us and are protected by South African and international intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce or use them commercially without our written permission.

12. Acceptable use

Do not use this site to break the law, to introduce malicious code, to scrape it at scale, to impersonate anyone, or to interfere with how it works for other people.

13. Third-party services

Parts of this site rely on third parties — Shopify for the store, UCIN for express checkout, courier partners for delivery, and email and analytics providers. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to what they do. We choose them carefully but we do not control them.

14. Liability

We are liable to you as the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 requires, and nothing in these terms limits rights you cannot lawfully waive — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

We do not promise the site will always be available or error-free.

15. Privacy

How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction.

17. General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our not enforcing a term on one occasion does not waive it. These terms, together with our Shipping, Refund, Privacy and UCIN policies, are the whole agreement between us.
